Three hours of riding through Romania’s wildest wilderness – No roads, no Wi-Fi, no people, not even fences to remind you civilization exists. Just us, the horses, the wind, a few curious deer and enough bear tracks to keep things interesting.
Even the boys went the next day for a more easy ride! Luckily Douwe did not forget after all these years how to stay on the horse.
Part of the fun was experiencing this amazing place. The people, the beautiful ranch, the well trained and well taken care of horses. Next to the horse riding they are managing many more interesting projects to preserve nature (wildlife and biodiversity) and culture in their village and the wilderness around it. It was a great ride!
