Travel has a way…
…of showing us that things aren’t always as simple as we thought they were.
We meet people, hear their stories, and find ourselves thinking about things we never really questioned before. What do we do when someone keeps asking for money? How much should you adapt to the place you’re visiting? Does avoiding risks actually make us safer?
We spend a lot of time talking things over during long drives. Trying to make sense of something we’ve seen or heard, disagreeing, looking at it from different angles.
Imagine being part of these conversations. What would you think? What would you add? We’d love to hear it and see where the conversations take us. Who knows, maybe we’ll all see the world a little differently along the way!
A letter from the road

Something the road brought up this time
We have been noticing something since we have the truck. If two people would stand next to each other and look at our truck, they could see something very different. Some people mainly see things that they would find difficult: Limited water and energy, no airconditioning, 24/7 with the kids, homeschooling, a small house and little comfort. They say “I would not be able to do that”. Others see something entirely different. A fully equipped house, taps with running water, free electricity, freedom, independence, richness. They say things like “If I had a truck like that, I would not need a house”.
It is the same truck, the same life, but seen from different realities, different normals.
Step outside your own bubble
Imagine settling down with a cup of tea (or whatever you fancy) and a letter from the road.
Sometimes the story you read in the letter makes you question something you’ve always thought was normal. Sometimes it helps you understand someone else a little better. Sometimes you may appreciate something about your own life in a new way.
And sometimes, it’s the conversation that follows that makes it all the more interesting.

Beyond small talk
Ever wish you could skip the small talk and get straight to the things that really matter?
Conversations where you’re not afraid to challenge each other, where changing your mind is okay, and where you can disagree strongly and still enjoy each other’s company.
Conversations about questions, doubts and different perspectives. Where no one needs to have all the answers or be right. Just people who are curious about the world, open to new perspectives and happy to sit down together and talk things through.

Good stories. Big questions. Really good conversations.
Come for the letters. Stay for the people.
